ON THE SILLIMAN FONT

By the way, do any of you prefer this font to my usual one? I think it's rather more relaxing for the eye. It's actually Silliman's font -- Ariel Large. Fellow bloggers -- if you want to start looking and sounding like Ron Silliman, all you have to do is start posting in Ariel Large too! (Maybe I'll find myself inexplicably convulsing when I look at my shelves full of SoQ and SoQ-type poets!)

Well, different screens, different screams. (I'm trying here to coin a variation on "different folks"...well, trying...) I usually use Netscape. What you said made me try my little-used Explorer browser -- and YUCK! Did it ever look BIG and UGLY. Not only that, but my profile and links didn't even show up on the screen. SCREAM! Is Blogger primarily Netscape friendly (that I can't believe, since most poeple use Explorer), or is it my settings? Probably the latter. I'm one of those folks who still uses a 12" monitor...

... so I guess I'll go back to my usual font.

I use Arial, but my standard font is 10 points, not the 12 you have in your sample.
