I like this ad, from Avaaz. It doesn't explicitly take sides, although the side it's on is pretty obvious. Its express aim is to counter desperate Republican fear- and hate-mongering (linking Obama to terrorists, spreading fears of Muslims, foreigners) as Americans head to the polls next week. One thing though: does the US have a good record of "standing up against tyrants"? I beg to differ. As a Canadian onlooker, though, my own allegiance is also pretty obvious: Go, Obama, go!
