Seize the Carp! Love the theme. Wish I were better at practising it, actually. But I have always felt uneasy about that word "seize." Too much of a note of desperation in it, as of someone who fears she can never really "seize" the day, after all. What about "embrace the day"?

"Embrace" suggests passive, accepting enjoyment. Which may well be OK, especially in a balmy environment. Seize may or may not be desperate -- but certainly suggests urgency, more in keeping with time's inexorable movement, passing opportunities, that sense of final deadline hanging over our heads.
