Actually, this isn't a Newfoundland sculpture. Like the Statue of Liberty, it's a gift from Europe -- and was made by a 19th C. Italian sculptor. You can read more by clicking on the link below the picture.
Well, I read it and I'm impressed, though. I don't think that nowadays it's "normal" to find beautiful art elsewhere than museums or "private" never seen by anybody collections. Still, thank you for the link and the discovery.
